RiSE Systems is a clinician-led innovation studio developing digital tools that make healthcare work smarter.

Born from the RiSE movement, our mission is to bring transparency and efficiency to hospital planning. Our first product — Barker‑o‑matic™ — turns rotating theatre rotas into live consultant job plans and department-wide efficiency dashboards. Proven in cardiothoracic anaesthesia at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Barker‑o‑matic helps Clinical Directors see, in real time, how consultant activity maps to operational need. It’s the bridge between job plans, rotas, and reality — built by clinicians, for clinicians.
